The Function @ MLBY is an original experience created and produced by Allec Co. Creative, an experiential production studio specializing in meaningful gatherings, creative experiences, and stories that bring people together.
It is presented by BeautiFire, a nonprofit dedicated to cultivating spaces where people can encounter Christ, grow in community, and experience meaningful transformation.
Together, they created The Function to celebrate Christian music and culture through thoughtfully curated gatherings.

Is this a church event?
No. The Function is a cultural gathering rooted in Christian music and values, but it isn’t a church service, conference, or worship night.
People from different backgrounds are welcome to come, listen, connect, and discover great music.

How do I attend?
Attendance is by invitation — request one here.
Because each Volume is intentionally curated and capacity is limited, submitting a request does not guarantee an invitation.
Is there a cost to attend?
There’s a $35 confirmation fee, charged only after your request is approved and you choose to accept. It’s what holds your spot — nothing is charged just for requesting.
What does the $35 include?
Entry for the night, the curated set, and light bites and handcrafted mocktails throughout the evening.
How will I know if I’ve been invited?
If your request is approved, you’ll receive an invitation by email with instructions to confirm your attendance.
Once your attendance is confirmed, you’ll receive the full venue address and arrival details.
Why isn’t the address public?
Many Volumes take place in intimate or private spaces.
To respect our hosts, neighbors, and guests, the exact address is shared only with confirmed attendees.
Can I bring a guest?
Additional guests should submit their own reservation request or be approved in advance.
What should I wear?
Come styled, comfortable, and ready to enjoy the room. Think elevated, expressive, and camera-ready without feeling overly formal.
Will food and drinks be available?
Yes. Guests can expect thoughtfully selected light bites and non-alcoholic beverages that complement the experience.
Menus may vary from one Volume to another.
Can I request songs?
Absolutely — visit Recommend a Song to submit tracks for this Volume’s consideration.
Will the playlist be available afterward?
Yes. Each Volume has its own curated playlist, which becomes part of The Function Archive after the event.
Can artists submit their own music?
Yes. Artists are welcome to submit original music for consideration, reviewed by our curators based on genre fit, quality, and the overall listening experience.

Curiosity is all that’s required.
Is photography or videography allowed?
Yes. Photography and videography take place throughout the evening to help document each Volume.
